The confirmed resource loop

The safe launch-level description is straightforward: gather natural resources, mine ore, process ore through a smelter, then use crafted materials for tools, structures, weapons and repairs. Steam also says mining caves and abandoned locations are already scattered through the Early Access world.

Crafting from storage: do not assume it

A July 28 developer reply said direct crafting from storage was not implemented at that time, though it was a possible Early Access addition. Because this status can change, the correct launch answer is pending verification, not yes or no.

Exact recipes are intentionally absent

This page does not list fabricated wood costs, smelter recipes, ingot ratios or weapon repair values. Once those are verified in the live build, they can support dedicated canonical pages or tables if search demand appears.
